14,000m. of chain for spread mooring loaded

The most efficient and economic way to bring the chains to Nigeria was to load them on board so as to eliminate delays but also big logistics problem in Nigeria to bring them to the oilfield and handle them. A total of 14 chains of 1,000 meters each, for the FSO spread mooring in Nigeria, arrived and loaded in the FSO slop tanks following temporary loading system installation and arrangements for safe storage.
